Frank Lauria II "Dennis" Born in the Bronx, New York, Frank was bitten by the entertainment bug at a very early age. While attending P.S. 33 and 83, he was cast in several school productions and won a variety of class awards for his writing. The discouragement of family and teasing from friends, however, convinced him a career in the entertainment industry was, at best, impractical. So he put aside his dreams. . . for a while. In high school, Frank and a friend formed the band Kruciform, in which he played lead guitar. With their unique brand of heavy metal, Kruciform attained some of success in the greater New York area for about five years. When contract negotiations with a record label broke down, Frank decided, once again, the entertainment career he had hoped for was most likely not meant to be, so he enlisted in the United States Navy. As an Aircraft Weapons Systems Technician, Frank served his entire four-year naval career just miles south of Hollywood, in San Diego, California. After completion of his military service, Frank elected to stay and study in San Diego. He graduated with a degree in Robotics, and a career as a Computer Systems Analyst seemed both easy and practical. Frank's close proximity to the movie capital of the world would prove to be the key to his future, and the acting bug once again made itself known. Before long, Frank decided, without telling his new friends, that he would begin acting classes. It would seem his decision to make the entertainment leap was sound, as he has been featured in numerous television shows, including "18 Wheels of Justice," "The Enforcers," "The Chronicle," and "So You Want to be an Actor?" He has also landed supporting or starring roles in such features as The Restaurant, Bashing, and, of course, The Five Stages of Beer. Deservedly, this time around, his friends offer both support and encouragement.
