John Patzer - Director of Photography
In his younger years, while studying at Washington State University, John
made a big splash in his burgeoning career in film and television. He was the
co-creator and co-producer of Video Underground, the fist nationally syndicated
student produced music video program in the country. He also shot WSU football
games for the NCAA.
Since that time his services have been requested by all the major television
networks; ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox, as well as many of the major cable networks
including WB, UPN, HBO, Showtime, The Food Network, PBS and The Discovery Channel.
John has been recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences
and has received Emmy’s for his outstanding achievements in the fields
of Editing, Producing, Directing and Director of Photography.
With a determination to generate his own projects, John created ’67 Window,
Inc. his own production company. It is this production company that has allowed
him to produce, direct, shoot and edit digital cinema projects for a variety
of musicians. Those who have been documented under the ’67 Window banner
include The String Cheese Incident, Jeff Trott, Jerry Joseph and the Jackmormons,
Styxx and The Yonder Mountain String Band.
’67 Window Inc. has also played a major role in feature film productions
for Stage Direct and its programs for Showtime.
